4:47 PM Meeting was called to order at the Town Hall Annex. Present were Chairman Edith Morgan, Jon Fudeman, Stan Moss with T.A. Nina Nazarian
Jon F. distributed conditions proposed for the WRSD lease:
INADEQUATE MAINTENANCE _ In the event lessee fails to timely and satisfactorily perform either ongoing routine maintenance or major maintenance, lessor has the right to effect such maintenance subject to the following requirements:
1. Lessor inform lessee in writing of the deficiency and allow lessee a reasonable time under the circumstances to correct the deficiency.
2. If lessee has not corrected the deficiency within a reasonable time lessor is permitted to undertake the necessary maintenance and the lessee will bear all reasonable costs associated therewith.
3. Lessee will make available to its maintenance records to lessor for examination.
Selectmen voted all in favor to adopt the maintenance provision as presented and submit it to WRSD, and further to inform the school district that all other provisions of the lease are approved except for the sewer/water issue, for which selectmen are seeking additional data and analysis, before submitting a provision covering water/sewer.
4:55 PM BOS voted all in favor to adjourn.
